While choosing the cake toppers the first rule is to completely ignore toppers made in plastic. Many couples choose plastic cake toppers because they are inexpensive and help to maintain a controlled budget. While that is indeed helpful, the disadvantage of using plastic toppers is that they are commonplace and not special at all. Readily available at every confectionary and department retail store, these toppers lack the charm and splendor of an exclusively made cake topper. If you want your wedding cake to be remembered, order a topper made especially for your wedding.

The cake should reflect your creativity. Since it is YOUR day, every aspect of the wedding should echo of your personalized touches. Hence, it is advisable to design some styles on your own or ask the confectioners to come up with something unique and exceptional. Elaborating further on traditional designs is a good idea.
